Prices

The centre is hired out for single group use. The costs to hire the centre for your group are as follows:-

Normal rate

• £17.00 per person, per night
• Minimum charge: £204.00 per night

Discounted rate

• At the booking officers discretion, a discounted rate applies and is applicable to groups such as:-
  • Duke of Edinburgh's Award
  • Schools
  • University students
  • Other recognised young people's organisations
• £12.00 per person, per night
• Minimum charge: £144.00 per night

For all bookings:-

• A non-refundable deposit of £75.00 per night is to be provided within 7 days of booking.
• Minimum stay of 2 nights (3 nights at Bank Holiday weekends)
• Maximum stay of 7 nights
• Check-in: from 4:00pm
• Check-out: 12:00 noon
• Rate is inclusive of gas and electricity costs (excluding EV charging - see note below)
• As standard, payment is via BACS transfer. If this is not suitable, alternative methods can be discussed. Please contact us prior to making a booking.

EV (Electric Vehicle) Charging

There are two 7kW EV Charging Stations on site. These are for use exclusively by centre occupants (not public) at an extra cost.

The cost for use is based on the business electricity rate we pay (for which there is no government subsidy and is considerably higher than the capped domestic rate). This is currently £0.51 per kWh.

Winter months

Due to its remote location, the centre is normally closed from the beginning of December until the end of February with the water supply turned off and drained down to prevent damage to the water pipes. These dates may vary due to centre maintenance or the weather (e.g. a prolonged winter may delay the resumption of the water supply)
